February is the month of love. We have generally used this month as a time to celebrate romantic love. We give chocolates, cards, and flowers to our crush or partner in the hopes of showing them how much we love them, but what about self-love?

When we practice self-love, we gain confidence and self-worth, making us happier and more positive in general. In the end, loving yourself makes you a better partner, friend, and parent, so self-love is a gift to your loved ones as well.

Here are a few tips to help you practice self-love this February:

1. Gratitude
